I. AM. WATER.

didn’t you know 

i don’t want to be cool

i wanna flow

a beautiful

patient

calm stream

throwin’ a lil wave 

every now and again 

just to let you know 

its on

its go

but sometimes

there is the need to roar

the bare necessity 

to bare my teeth

and…

cause a ripple effect

so intense 

you’d think 

i waged war

but, 

i 

am 

water

& i needed you…

to see

to understand 

every facet of me

when i rain,

i pour

but, 

i know

its my flow

most of all

you enjoy

i may flood, 

i may soar

i may heal

i may destroy

I. AM. WATER.

just goin’ with the flow

unless it’s my wave
