the houston rockets displayed heart, grit, determination and perseverance in their comeback 122-115 victory over the milwaukee bucks on november 9th, 2025! elite scorer, 2x nba champ & veteran star player, Kevin Durant lead the team in scoring with 31 points, shooting 73.3% from the field-a perfect 2-2 from 3 point land-while adding a season high 7 assists to go along with 3 rebounds. after trailing most of the game, the rockets adjusted their crowns & went to work outscoring the bucks 22-7 over the last 4 minutes, 33 seconds of the game. jabari smith’s 3-ball on an assist from the goat, with 1:42 left in the game gave the rockets their first lead since quarter one. a 2-point score from the bucks tied it 113-113, but easymoney’s clutch pull-up with 1:42 left in the 4th quarter, gave houston a hard-fought lead they refused to squander. smith & sheppard delivered big with 16 points a piece, thompson added 14 points, eason with 6 and 4 points for clint capella. nba aquaman steven adams, tied his season high of 12 points on 5-7 shooting with 6 rebounds and perfection from the free throw line. alperen şengün, on a fearless coast to coast big energy and-1 with 23 seconds to play, added 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists to help solidify the rockets’ win.
with only 9 games in, they’re just getting started, but im excited to keep watching this team grow and excel. and as they continue to gel and understand each others’ strengths and weaknesses on & off the floor, i predict more regular season wins & a successful playoff run this 2025-26 season. s/o to rockets head coach & former trailblazer, ime udoku on keeping his word to implement both physical & tough play on a nightly basis. in my opinion, you can always see the passion of a coach through the players and his coaching style seems to clearly resonate with the team through their on-court chemistry & game-time delivery! it’s only up from here. h-town, once again, we makin’ noise!!
